This is the presumably unofficial American version of Kinder Eggs.
What a Choco Treasure egg looks like unwrapped
Kinder Eggs are banned in America due to a choking hazard about the way the capsule is wayward in the egg and could be swallowed. However, Choco Treasure doesn't have this as the capsule is large and there is a coating of chocolate on either side which you can take off and eat.
